Farmer's Favorite Rhubarb Crisp

Fresh summer rhubarb is my families favorite dessert.
This Farmer's Favorite Rhubarb Crisp recipe is fast and easy. It is the perfect combination of sweet and tart!

Ingredients:
6 cups diced fresh rhubarb
1 cup white sugar
2 Tbs all-purpose flour
2 Tbs water
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground allspice

Topping:
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups brown sugar (packed)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup butter

Steps:
1. Gather all of the ingredients and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 pan.
2. Mix together the rhubarb, sugar, four, water, cinnamon, and allspice in a large bowl until combined. Set aside.Â
3. Make topping: Mix together oats, brown sugar, and flour in another large bowl. Use a pastry cutter in incorporate butter into oat mixture until crumbly.
4. Press 1/2 of the oat topping into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
5. Top with the rhubarb mixture; cover with the remaining topping.
6. Bake in the preheated oven until filling is set and top is lightly browned, about 45 min. Remove and allow to cool.
7. Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped topping!!!
