Pork Stir Fry

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/4 lbs ground pork
  • 1/4 cup + 2 TBS low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 TBS rice wine
  • 4 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 TBS sesame oil (divided)
  • 1 bunch thin asparagus spears, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 TBS minced fresh ginger
  • 1 TBS chili garlic sauce
  • 11/2 TBS honey
  • 3 scallions diced
  • cooked white rice
Pork Stir Fry

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wisk 2 TBS soy sauce, rice wine, and cornstarch in medium bowl until corn
  • starch is dissolved
  • Add pork and mix lightly to blend
  • Heat 1 TBS sesame oil in a large skillet on high heat
  • Add asparagus, ginger and chili sauce
  • Toss until asparagus is crisp and charred
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Add remaining 1 TBS sesame oil to skillet and fry pork
  • 4 minutes- Break into small pieces and fry until browned
  • Return asparagus mixture to skillet with 1/4 cup soy sauce and honey
  • 2 minutes- Stir fry until cooked through
