Our friend and neighbor Andrew Toonies at Hideaway Farms, is raising pasture pigs and has shares available.

How does it Work?

*Choose whether you want a half or whole pork share.

*Put down your $250 non-refundable deposit. Your deposit goes toward the cost of your hog.

*Farmer Toonies will reach out to you with your locker date and get you the information on cut instructions, etc. Barreras Family Farm is not involved in the process of this transaction. Please reach out to Hideaway Farms with any questions. (402) 590-7096.

*Locker dates on November 20 and December 6 at the North Bend Locker. $4.00 lb hanging weight for a half hog. $3.50 for a whole. Plus, the processing fee from the locker is about $250 for a half. Target weight of 200 lbs hanging per whole hog.

Q: How much freezer space do I need? A: Approx. 2 cu. ft. of space per 1/2 share.
