Steak and Quail Egg Breakfast Skillet

Yield- 2 servingsĀ 

Prep/Cook Time- 30 minutes



Potatoes- 1 Ā½ Pounds, peeled and small dicedĀ 

Olive Oil- 3 TbspĀ 

Onion- Ā½ of a yellowĀ 

Garlic Powder- Ā½ tspĀ 

Salt and Pepper- To tasteĀ 

Fresh Parsley- Ā¼ Cup, choppedĀ 

Steak of your choice- 1 Pound, cooked to your desired doneness and sliced thin

Quail Eggs, 6Ā 


  1. Cook the potatoes in a pot of boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.Ā 
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.Ā 
  3. Add the potatoes to the skillet in a single flat layer and cook without stirring for about 4-5 minutes.Ā 
  4. Add the onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper and continue to saute for about 7 minutes or until the potatoes have browned on all sides.Ā 
  5. Remove from heat, adjust salt and pepper, and add the parsley.Ā 
  6. In a separate saute pan, over medium heat, crack and fry the quail eggs until all of the egg white has set firmly.Ā 
  7. Add in the cooked, and sliced steak in the potato skillet and top the dish with the finished quail eggs. Enjoy!Ā
