Maple Glazed Carrots

Maple glazed carrots are a bright addition to any meal.  The naturally sweet carrots, glazed with maple syrup.....yummy!

Prep/Cook Time: 20-25minutes

Yield: 4 servings




1 lb carrots, peeled & stemmed

1/2 cup water

2 Tbsp Butter

2 Tbsp packed light brown sugar

1 tsp salt

2 Tbsp maple syrup



1. In a sauce pot, over medium high heat, add carrots, water, brown sugar, and salt. Bring the contents of the pot to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover.

2. Cook the carrots for 5 minutes. After increase the heat to medium high. Remove the cover and continue to cook until all of the liquid has evaporated. About 5-6 minutes.

3. Carrots should be for tender. Stir in maple syrup and enjoy! Garnish with fresh parsley and crushed pepper.
