Fresh Basil Pesto Pasta

Pesto
1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, packed. Can substitute with the same quantity of fresh cilantro. ¼ cup Parmesan Reggiano Cheese
¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cup Walnuts, shelled
2 cloves Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
Put all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor except for the salt and pepper and blend until smooth and creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook one pound of your favorite pasta according to the directions on its packaging. Set aside. Sauce
2 cups Heavy Cream

2 cups of your favorite vegetables
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large saute pan,over medium high heat, saute desired vegetables for 2-3 minutes. I like to use cherry tomatoes, onions, sliced yellow bell pepper,
Add the heavy cream and continue to cook until the cream has reduced by half and can evenly coat the back of a spoon.
Add in the pesto and stir thoroughly. Garnish with fresh basil (cilantro) and parmesan cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
