Seeing the Old through New Eyes

Hopefully your family enjoyed seeing the farm pictures on our Christmas card this year.  If you didn’t get one make sure you have your address in our system so you don’t miss out on special gifts and cards through the year. For those of you who got cards you saw the special note about our refurbished logo. This is something we are VERY excited about!

Barreras Family Farm has always approached agriculture in a different style, seeing the old through new eyes.  We believe it is okay to break with tradition, to approach an age-old practice in a different style. If you have been out to our farm you know it’s not agriculture as usual. We are both farmers and teachers, forging new ways to serve our community. The bear, its story, will always be the heart of our farm. Since purchasing our farm property in 2018 we have grown in our love for our community and agriculture. We have met many challenges, much like the bear, and grown in strength and courage toward protecting our family. We are equally fearless in the pursuit of our passion: advocating for our customer’s health through communication and education. Like the welcoming visage of the foward-facing bear, we are approachable. Customer interaction, conversation and connection are as much a part of our calling as the stock we raise.

We are looking forward to 2022 and another year to grow within Nebraska and across the borders into neighboring states.  Thank you for being apart of our farm family.
