Reflection

I’ve been asking Holy Spirit which miracle to share with you next. And I hear nothing. I’ve learned that this usually means I am asking the wrong question or that He has answered me and I’m not “seeing” the answer. He ALWAYS answers. (Matthew 7:7-11)

So, I’ve shut my mouth. Shut off noise and just…..listened.

I am in awe of how beautiful His creation is.

I was watching my girls at a park today and couldn’t help but admire His mighty hand in each of the children playing. Not just their outward appearance with the different shades of skin tone, hair colors, sizes. So unique, so creative.  But each one so unique in their sense of adventure and curiosity.  Have you ever watched how children play?  Obviously the designer of toys hasn’t!! LOL Children find the most unique ways to climb on, lay across, and jump off of equipment. I could hear them chatter and laugh, some squealing with delight some just talking to themselves on a full adventure in their head.  As I closed my eyes I could see their laughter.  I knew Jesus was laughing too. ❤️

I am so very thankful for this life. For the opportunity to pause and soak up all the beauty.  I know too often I get caught up in the chase of life. The noise that is ALWAYS around.

I think that is one of the biggest ways we allow satan to steals from us. We allow ourselves to be blinded from seeing the miracles, we are blinded by the noise.  Demands of to-do lists, bills that need to be paid, appointments, work, taxes, the “need” for more, constant sound blaring on the TV or radio, constant talking all around us. These little devises that rob our time and attention so that we don’t even hear the laughter. Or worse never join our kids in play and laugh with them.

We don’t stop enough to listen, pause, and SEE all the miracles that surround us.

We don’t stop to be thankful for the thousands of daily miracles that surround us. From huge miracles like the earth rotating at just the right distance from the sun and moon that we are neither melting or freezing or little miracles like ants that move specs of sand 10x’s their body weight.

Miracles SURROUND us and I am so very thankful.

I love reading through the Psalms. King David was a man of words and passion. Praise was always on his lips.  Even in the storms he was able to see miracles.

Pslam 8

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars,, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the filed, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

I will praise you, O Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

This pours from my heart and my lips tonight. Take a moment to praise Him for everything. The little and the big miracles.  For the very breath you have in your lungs.  Even if today was hard. Even if you are waiting for a miracle, praise Him for the hope that is yours. For this day and the one that will come tomorrow.  Find joy in the miracles that surround you. They are endless.

Be Blessed Friends.

Love,  ❤️
